Cookie Price Increase
Girl Scout Cookie prices at GSCB have remained the same since 2020 and lower than other Girl Scout councils in our geographic area. This is despite annual increases from our baker, Little Brownie Bakers (LBB), due to rising inflation in the costs of raw materials, shipping, printing, and labor. To offset this increase in costs, we were faced with the tough decision to raise our price per box to $6.00 in 2026. This year, all varieties will cost $6.00.
The public is aware of the rising cost of all goods and services. Just as they have done in the past, we are confident our communities will continue to support the Cookie Program and recognize their investment in the future by creating opportunities for local Girl Scouts to learn, grow, and thrive.
Troop Proceeds Update
Due to the increase in the price per box, also made adjustments to Troop Proceeds:
- Standard Troop Profit: Every troop will earn $0.95 for each package sold.
- Extra Incentive for Older Troops: Junior through Ambassador troops that choose to opt out of rewards will receive an additional $0.05 per package.
- Fall Product Incentive: Troops that participated in the 2025 Fall Product Program and earned a $275 PGA will earn an additional $0.02 per package during the 2026 Cookie Program.
